Born From a Grandmother's Recipe Book
Rasoi β meaning "kitchen" in Hindi β was founded in 2018 by Chef Rajan Nair, a Keralite who moved to Karachi with nothing but his passion for food and his grandmother's handwritten recipe book tucked under his arm.
After years of missing the flavours of home β the tangy rasam, the crispy dosas, the creamy coconut curries β Rajan decided Karachi deserved to taste what real South Indian cooking feels like. He opened a small eatery in Clifton, and the city fell in love.
Today, Rasoi is Karachi's most beloved South Indian restaurant, serving over 200 guests daily with the same recipes, the same coconut oil, and the same love that started it all.
